    BBC Sports Personality of the Year shortlist is out.

    Only British and Northern Irish sports stars are eligible.

    The nominees are:

    Jude Bellingham - Football
    Keeley Hodgkinson - 800m running
    Luke Littler - Darts
    Joe Root - Cricket
    Sarah Storey - Paracycling
    Alex Yee - Triathlon

    Keeley Hodgkinson is the overwhelming favourite to run away with it.
