Game set match. Great effort from the Welsh but credit to Ireland too. They could have fallen to pieces similar to the Blues last night v the Highlanders, bit they didn't panic and chipped away at the Scoreboard.

    And rightly so.

Wales can take a heck of lot out of this game - right in it until the last 10 minutes.

All over. Wales 18 Ireland 27.

Ireland had to dig deep for that. Wales went toe to toe with one of the best teams in the world there. Prendagast's boot made the difference IMHO

@African-Monkey I thought Prendagast was outstanding once he came on.

Penalties killed Wales in that game if I'm honest. Great energy today from the men in red but not always the discipline to match it.

I think this one will be close. Ireland will be win, but it won't be a slaughter. Ireland 6-10.

    As I was saying.......

Yup mostly. That kick on the full nearly cost them big time but other than that, solid outing.

Excellent coverage of the game by the BBC. Alan
Wyn Jones a great addition to their pundits team.

    Bravo!

Match noticeably slower - no pressure or urgency to get scrums and lineouts set etc
