Doesn't detract from the main body of work I fully agree and even in the later years there were some fairly simple songs but Hello Goodbye was something less than simple IMO. Having said that a very catchy tune nonetheless. However when you put it up against some of their contemporaneous output - Penny Lane/Strawberry Fields, Sgt Pepper, Hey Jude etc, it doesn't really stand up too well. And I am a Beatles fan.
