    Twisted Metal

Cool stunts, cartoonish violence and total over the top bullshit.

Great fun switching the brain off and enjoying the ride.

    Sweet Tooth is awesome.

Loved season one, assuming you’re watching season two

Not yet. Rainy and shitty in Welly so might make a start on it tonight

Sweet Tooth is played by wrestler Samoa Joe

He sure is, the voice is some other guy though.

I’m up to episode four, it’s damn silly but dam amusing too

Yes, Will Arnett is the voice

Sweet Tooth is extremely good at winning gunfights with a machete it has to be said.

Thomas Hayden Church is great value as Stone too, I don’t think we’ve seen the last of him.

Not sure how long the fun momentum of this show will last but it’s great so far.

Neve Campbell still HAF too it needs to be said. So is quiet. Great banter with John Doe too.

    Just started season 2.

The new Raven is even hotter than the old one !

Also……why does Sweet Tooth not have a burnt, scarred head?

    Untamed

Starring Sam Neil, Eric Bana, with the latter as the cliched moody cop with the tortured past.

Not a must watch, but a decent enough watch with a couple of little twists.

    Tires

Finished both seasons, pretty good with some funny, silly stuff.

    Just started this as well.

That opening scene was pretty horrific for someone like me who hates heights.

Some pretty stunning scenery too, not sure if they’re overdoing shots of it to make up for a cliched story we’ve seen so many time before. Will keep watching and decide !

I couldnt believe how "by the numbers" this was. And who the protagonists turned out to be.

    It was laughable.

Best episode is episode 1......and then it descends into farce.

I started watching Landman, does the daughter get any less annoying as the show goes on?

    Alien Earth

Deep. Dark themes. Formulaic. Scary. Derivative. Every trope from the films on display. Nonsensical sets (CRT screens in 2150 FFS).

Bloody brilliant so far. Seriously outstanding.

1 episode into Chief of War. Really like it, although I'm going to refrain from checking the historical accuracy on some parts in case that annoys me too much

@Victor-Meldrew The creator, Noah Hawley, wrote scripts for Star Trek movies and TV pilots. They made the most stupid shit instead.

I watched 2 episodes then got tired of the sub titles I don’t mind the odd French movie, but it just seemed unnecessarily painful watching a bunch of blokes speak a foreign language hen o know they can all speak English perfectly well 😎

Discovered this gem of a show on Prime, was obsessed with it back in the early 80s as a young teen. The action is tame compared to the likes of Game of Thrones etc but that was the times
But its cast, story and cracking soundtrack are still top.
Didn’t even realise the supporting cast included Boba Fett

Of course. The actor (Mark Ryan) is also in Gary Moore's "Over The Hills And Far Away" music video.

Also in a few Bond films and Dr Who. It’s funny, literally any chump coulda played that character back in the day for all he didn’t do. Amazing how popular he became.

That was a cool show, I’d love to see how it holds up today.

Little John is also the only man to ever beat up Clint Eastwood on screen without reprisal ( White Hunter Black Heart )
