Just back from the game...... we were all pretty low at half time... bloody embarrassing 1st half... basic skills not executed and the only fwd that looked interested was Jack Taylor ... lineouts were a shambles though.

Laumape passing and lines were very good and Viljoen box kicks were very accurate.

Great second half ... Mika Muliaina really stood out .... certainly a player to watch considering he is only 18.

Found myself supporting Manawatu after the first half. Was really impressed with their game.

Think a couple of lucky-ish breaks got Southland back in the game, then they out Manawatu-ed Manawatu in the second half.
