I don't think Cruden has won the RS before, maybe Sopoaga too.

Had a feeling Waikato were gonna pull this one out of the fire
Jacomb still man of the match imo but that missed touch was so costly
Personally i would have taken the 3 and backed my defence
Boshier i also thought was outstanding
    Great cameo from Lima
Congratulations Waikato just hope they get some numbers turning up at FMG ..
Great game did’nt really care who won but i’m $85 richer

Lol I just got home from game and was suggesting taking a kick when he missed touch, but c'est la vie ,it's the way things go.
I was disappointed when Waikato got the kick etc, but by the time I had spent 5 minutes I was over it and shrugged shoulders. I enjoyed the game, will be at the next Naki one etc. I did think we lost a bit whem JKR rolled his ankle, but Waikato never gave up the fight.

Only see the highlights but Waikato taking the 3s on offer was classic Shield rugby.

Pearl of a try for Naki just after halftime. Draw and pass 7 or 8 times!

Ought to be mandatory watching for AB backs.

Pleased for Mooloo, but Bulls know they grasped defeat from the mouth of victory.

Great for Aaron Cruden and Sops to add their names to the legend of the Shield in the twilight of their careers.

Watching this delayed and still surprised Taranaki managed to lose. Without blaming anyone specifically for the loss, Perry Lawrence will be ruing not doing his job at the ruck to allow Roe to scoot through.

Yeah, that was very well done. Taranaki have a good attacking structure which seldom works at SR due to the lack of time and space.

Waikato has now beaten Taranaki in their last 4 Ranfurly Shield challenges, so a happy hunting ground.
