Was quite taken aback on the difference when working in Wales. My Cardiff mate disliked Nth Wales attitude to outsiders intensely.

Similar to an old joke. I actually used this myself at work once...
Some guy making jokes about the holocaust and I said, have a bit of respect, my Grandfather died at Auschwitz.
