Ok Fellas, we got a week or so to go, so thought time we had a match thread.
I over my disappointment of what happened in Wellington, and so now looking forward to this one. I look forward to see what changes are made, I don't think there will be many, perhaps how some go in NPC this weekend will give up a clue.
ie Roigard showing he is fit is a no brainer, as he is best 9 when fit. Not sure how Ratima is going, but obviously be happy to see him on bench.
Genuinely think the thing that intrigues me the most is what work Ryan will do with forwards, as like it or not I believe that's where the damage was done last week, we were well beaten there.
    I think we will win!

I was one who wanted a change from Rieko at 13 ...but defensively he was brilliant there and the way we are playing not involving the 13 in attack anyway I would like him back there to sure up the D v a dangerous Oz backline

@kidcalder is interesting really, that a team that historically attacks better than anyone, we are missing a defensive player, who really could actually be one of our most dangerous attacking weapons....

At the moment none of our attack strikes seem to involve the 13 getting the ball just as a dummy runner... it sucks but that is what seems to be repeated.
The days of All Blacks heads up rugby seem to be over due to being coached out/game plan out of them.
Having backs that could see and exploit space was our superpower

@kidcalder TBF to Robertson, Foster never looked to utilise Ioanes pace either. (worse in that he was probably at peak pace then too) criminal on the part of both coaching groups.

    Over it? Hell naw.

I'm still bitter about the Cornelsen game in 1978., and every loss thereafter. (Earliest loss I can recall watching ... probably earlier ones I watched - 1976 in SA for eg). So will never be "over" Saturday.

But definitely looking forward to the next one.

I worry Robertson will react to last weekend’s record loss by playing it ultra conservative with the likes of Reece and Lienert-Brown.

…….and is it too late to send an SOS to George Bridge for some good old fashioned SWB slow and steadiness on the wing?

Hey boo, listen mate, I thought I ha buried the '78 game from my memory, geez now you reminded me !!😠
But after turning 71 last week I decided I have to get over things quickly, as I haven't got all that many years , and I need to throw out disappointment as quick as I can, otherwise I will be a cranky old man as well as dumb old bugger!!😁
