I'm still shocked you are becoming slightly critical of Scottish players.Not the players. Just the weather, cuisine, beer, general dourness and ESPECIALLY the music.

I remember the whisky, which was excellent. I don't remember the beer. So that's a good reason to go back. There's at least one excellent Scottish dish, salmon in whisky, crumbed.

Scottish beer is almost universally shite. The food though, outside of Glasgow can be fantastic. Plus as you say, there is the whisky.

Scottish seafood is some of the best you will get anywhere. The quality of their meat is often top notch too, mainly beef and venison. Their salmon is out of this world.
Plus haggis.

Fair call. When I think Scottish food I think bland shit like oatcakes, shortbread and porridge.
