Scottish beer is almost universally shite. The food though, outside of Glasgow can be fantastic. Plus as you say, there is the whisky.
Whisky speaks for itself but I never mentioned that.
I’m definitely interested in learning more about this ‘fantastic’ food though.
Scottish seafood is some of the best you will get anywhere. The quality of their meat is often top notch too, mainly beef and venison. Their salmon is out of this world.
Plus haggis.
Fair call. When I think Scottish food I think bland shit like oatcakes, shortbread and porridge.
