Yeah, they are all putting their prices up, and don't seemed too bothered with the churn. I re-subscribed to Apple TV+ on a $3.99 per month deal for 3 months before it went to normal price for a few months, and now the $3 increase. I had plenty of series to catch up on in that period.
Only one streaming platform at a time for me now until I've watched the shows I am interested in. Then move to another - rinse and repeat. Netflix got canned because of their price increase.
Yeah, I'll keep Stan for the rugby for the majority of the year, but I'll turn it off the two months over summer due to the fact they just raised their prices to pay for the Premier League.
For some reason my Netflix sharing hasn't been cancelled so I'm good with at the moment. Same with Amazon which I get from my niece who works for AWS, but that place is a shit show these days, almost impossible to find decent stuff on there.
Prime? yeah not alot of decent stuff on there. Least its cheap, though now with the odd ad its annoying.
I had it back on for my oldest to watch a couple of shows . Thats when i discovered they had Robin of Sherwood.
Ill get it back on for the final season of The Boys, nothing really else there has appealed to me.
Didnt even bother watching Season 2 of Rings of Power. -
I'm going to have to pull the plug on a couple of platforms - maybe three as the recent price hikes are ridiculous. Will need to keep Stan for the rugby - and now it's showing the UCI but apart from that there's not much appealing. Thankfully SBS On Demand here (Oz) has all the grand tours and one-off races free to air. I'll keep AppleTV as I'm hooked on Slow Horses, Silo, Invasion and Foundation. Plus, Chief of War has been pretty good and I have a healthy movie library saved there. I re-subscribed to Disney+ a few weeks ago so I could watch Alien Earth and catch up on Only Murders in the Building ... but once those two are done I'm cancelling.

Didnt even bother watching Season 2 of Rings of Power.I have Paramount via Prime which has more watchable shows. I don't have to worry about Rings of Power as I'm not a LOTR fan, confirmed by my attendance at a Fellowship watch party on Saturday which allowed me to try out my new whiskeys.

Only Murders in the Building
I liked the first two seasons but didn't finish the third. I've watched a few dramas on SBS, including the Irish show Kin and the NZ comedy where only women are left called Creamarie. I got used to the short ad breaks when watching, but they were a shock initially, especially because they appear to be broadcast in a much lower resolution than the shows.

Only murders in the building is a guilty pleasure, long time fan of Steve Martin and Martin Short.
It’s a comfort watch, great acting and music.
After 5 seasons maybe it’s getting a tad far fetched given how many people keep getting knocked off there. You’d imagine no one would be wanting to live there.. -

New mortal enemy. Absolutely detest both those loud braying pricks.
That said - I've heard good things about that show. I might consider giving it a shot after I've hunted you down and cut you a bit.

Relax - I still haven't cut @Kiwiwomble. It's an empty threat.
Probably.... -

@Virgil hes threatened me on a few occasions. The only cut I’ve had was last month when I sliced my finger chopping the veges. You’ll be ok.

Black Rabbit

I was enjoying Alien Earth because it had a different take on the very repetitive franchise. Come episode 5 and it's another rehash of the Aliens loose on a space ship story. It's also a flashback episode, which such a fucking lazy hack device.
Way to kill all momentum.

Ok, you don’t have to write a novel about it, I already did that
Four episodes in, great entertainment.

Agreed to some extent, Covenant at least took place on the ground for parts of it as opposed to a ship.
Haven’t managed to pin down my sons to find time to watch this, need to get on it.

Full on intense
Like watching Uncut Gems
Even though we normally binge the Netflix offerings we're taking this one episode at a time

Excellent scenes between the brothers…..
The guys that Vince owes money to seem pretty small time though, he has a bit of a loud mouth but doesn’t back it up with any action….
Also why did they kill Anna ? Not sure how that benefits them ? -
Nice conclusion to Alien Earth, can go multiple ways form here. Not really a spoiler but there was all sorts of press how Predator Badlands was going to be linked to this, thankfully it wasnt..as yet. Enjoyed first season and cant wait to see what they eye does next!
