@Grooter I love a conspiracy. Just seems all a little too convenient.

He wasn’t moving freely in that last 10 minutes of the Boks match, was even mentioned during the game. I don’t think it’s just a shoulder either.

This bending over backwards for Leicester Fai'anganuku better be worth it. How has a 7 test AB demanded this much attention....

@Canes4life Agree with this wholeheartedly. Roigard to play a DuPont type game and be the playmaker.
Give as little ball as possible to BB.

Same old shit selections win this one then get smoked in Perth.
Pattern remains the same so no chance of progression.

I think Cam Roigard will make a big difference if he's in decent form and is allowed to control the game like he did in his last test. I also think that Scott Barrett not being there will also make a difference but lets see.

Probably we will win and then Scott Barrett will come back for the following game and we will lose.

@reprobate was just thinking that it’s pretty rare that we go into back to back tests in a 3Ns / RC with two completely different sets of halfbacks.

    Pumas I - Ratima / Christie
Pumas II - Ratima / Christie
    Boks I - Christie / Preston
Boks II - Hotham / Christie
    Wallabies I - Roigard / Ratima

@brodean I reckon Scott's injury will linger into next week and then there will be a new squad announced for the Northern tour which he will not be able to go on due to needing more time for his shoulder to fully heal.
He will therefore do what is best for the team and stay home.
    Captaincy over.

@canefan do people actually care that much that Leicester is holding tackle bags for the ABs? The only guys in the country that should be bothered are Daniel Rona & AJ Lam

Sure. Except the new captain was strolling on defence and chipping within his own 22 in the last test.

New captain. Is that because Barrett is injured or was he dropped?

Good to see Lakai replace Kirifi on the bench.

    Clarke makes his return.

Bailyn Sullivan would feel most aggrieved, he was a gun for the canes this season.

Bailyn Sullivan is good for the wing but he's the worst defender of all the centre options that played in SRP this year.

For me Quinn Tupaea is also lucky. He showed a lot of promise during Super Rugby but he was disappointing in this RC especially in the last game.

He was one of the players walking in the last 15 minutes.

@brodean just to bang the drum again, but at super Quinn wasn't playing outside BB...last year when Lam was looking a good prospect too, he also wasn't...but this year he has fallen away...

I haven’t been this excited for a player being named in the AB side since July 2015, when Charlie Ngatai’s name was read out by Steve Hansen

It seems like you are saying Lam had fallen away in SRP this but he was arguably the Blue's best player this year along with Dalton Papali'i. Lam dominated carry impact stats for SRP.
