One thing is for sure, there will be almost no travelling fans for this weekend’s game in Perth.
And the game is a sellout.The largest group will be Kiwis (including PIs). Maybe not half, but getting close.
The rest will be made up of Saffers, Western Australia Aussies, and Brits, probably about equal in numbers.
Eastern states Aussies will be a small minority.Huge Kiwi influence in WA rugby.
The All Blacks were regular visitors to WA in amateur days. But did not play in Perth from 1992 to 2019, 27 years.
It would have been a nice little earner for NZRU to play some sort of game in Perth in that period.
Especially with the teams they had.
Eventually it was the WA Government who stepped in to secure some AB matches.In the meantime the Boks have played 12 test matches in Perth since 1998.
The Aussies have played 21 tests in Perth.

NZ and Samoa currently in Perth.
Edit: Seeing everyone's putting their history up, born and raised in Auckland for the first 22 years of my life, lived in Christchurch for 11 years, and now been in Perth for the last couple of months.

Mate after having the huge pleasure of spending 3-4 weeks there last year, I believe Wales is a place I wouldn't of minded living in. I actually genuinely wish I had realised as I was in Cardiff a few times, and if I had realised ,I may well of stayed down there for a couple of days and caught up for a quick frothy type beverage!
