Cobber is giving the young fella a start at flyhalf and gone back to an experienced hand to start at scrum half

Who both play at the Waratahs, it should be noted. Maybe that's a cohesion thing?

Definitely. Now that winning the Bledisloe is out of the equation, I think it’s good that Schmidt is giving another 10 test experience.

Arguably the same could be said for NZ, although happy for DMac is it maybe an opportunity for Ruben missed?

Not starting Holland is a mistake.
Not developing Love is a mistake.

Hollands had some stinking moments around the ruck defensively. He’s definitely the fourth best lock so not sure why it’s a mistake? Barrett gets his starting position back, and quite rightly after the complete lack of aggression last week. Va’ai is still the form lock despite a recent dip. Patty T provides more impact off the bench.

Had to ask if I was having my leg pulled… hope I’m not so apologies in advance if it isn’t correct. Usual contact so have no reason to believe it isn’t correct. Maybe I’m just a little surprised due to a certain name on the wing(which should bring some interesting opinions).

    1. Roigard
    2. Dmac
    3. Faingaʻanuku
    4. J. Barrett

    Have at it!

Well done in that sauce, as someone who previously had access to as such, great to see the accuracy. Hoping you get the respect of confidentiality in the future

Anyway, not a lot of excitement over selections is there really, it kind of feels like another AB/Wallaby test but without much on it. Realistically the Boks got RC tied up, Bled is tied up, so we getting a trot in the park??

I still hold out some hope that the Boks have been hanging out at London pubs all week and the Argies pull out a massive effort to scrape a win.

I still hold out hope that Argentina win 9-nil after the Wallabies romp to a 39-12 win.

I get that you don't like the guy, and yes he has some rough edges with defensive alignment in his first international season - but his work-rate is excellent and I think he is clearly our best lineout lock, which is a pretty important part of the game.

I really like the guy and really want him to succeed, so that’s absolutely not true. But if you make the same mistake four times, three weeks in a row, any player should sit out for a few games to fix it.

Reality is that we have three v good locks when on form, all of whom have plenty of test match rugby left and need the game time.

Lakai at least hit some rucks and tackled with intent last week. Sititi has been extremely poor in that regard this season.

LJ not considered. He’s not injured, but I wonder whether he’s at the match fitness levels yet?

Begs the question why the fuck he is in the squad for TRC?

Taking up a spot that could go to another loosie

The likes of Lio Willie and Papalii must be thinking wtf

    OK.
    Really like the backs.
Front row is as good as available.
    Really dislike 4 through 8.

Looking forward to be proven wrong. Go Black!

    Hard to say.

My feeling is the coaching team were unhappy with the results and thought it must be some of those guys without realising it was their shite coaching all along.

Are the results getting better? If they lose this weekend then they go from marginally better to no better than last year. Basically two years of no progress. I mean you can argue that this weekends results is meaningless given the Wallabies have Gordon and Edmed starting in the halves. It's virtually impossible for the AB's to lose with those two there.

If Scooter is playing injured, I'll be driven to the drink. Early.
If we lose, I'll be driven to the drink.
If we win, I'll be drinking, but only because it would be rude not to.
