    Alien Earth.

The Alien universe is awesome, I love that the Corporation and David are just as bad if not worse than the Aliens themselves.

Sigourney Weaver "You don't see them fucking each other over for a percentage"

The whole "David" saga has been left open, I think they need a movie to bridge that gap and find out what his ultimate fate ends up being.

    David vs Wendy?
    Jaded cynical Grumpy-Old-Man vs wide-eyed-naive-yoof.

Really really looking forward to this, judging by the trailer it looks like they have the right vibe. Being much lighter then the rest of the Game of Thrones/ASOIAF series

    Alien Earth

    • took me until the credits of final episode to figure out it was Adrian Edmondson. It was always a slight niggle in the back of mind... "who the fuck is that?"
    • the score... I'd seen a headline for an article about how well it was done - never bothered to read it. Binging the last 3 episodes tonight... noticable. Tesellate was fucking brilliant - I suspect that if anything - the scene was written/tweaked around the song. And Animal for final episode end credits - chef's kiss.
      • normally I mock a soundtrack where the songs are chosen based on the lyrics/title matching the plot/content. It usually comes across as childish. But in this case - done so fucking well.
      • I suspect my judgement might be tainted by nearly every song being used is something in my playlist/genre/favourites.

We don’t know that. Use the quote function in future.

    House of Guinness

Seems kind of like Succession set in olden day times and when the patriarch of the family has already died.

The four kids are every kind of stereotype we've seen before ( and of course Netflix being Netflix one of them has to be gay ) so all very ho hum so far. Not bad as such but nothing new.

Will stick with it and see how it turns out.

Disappointing lack of Guinness being brewed so far.

I thought it was ok.. decent filler when I couldn’t find anything else to watch. Was good to see Joffrey (Jack Gleeson) in another role

Yeah that sums it up perfectly so far. Will still give it a hoon, I might make sure I have a porter/stout to drink while watching a few episodes tonight.
