Yeah I’m on the mariners bandwagon, what I like about mlb is the timing , the interesting part of the season is just around when the football codes in the SH have finished and I’m looking for something else to get interested in .

I do love baseball even though I don’t follow it that closely , I played it for 10 years in my 30s , and my sons played.

The timing (as in time-of-day) - is all over the place... that 15-innings decider - I was pretty much running between breweries trying to find one that was going to stay open until the end.
While today's game - is at 2pm - so yeah... sorry work - but "It's Our Year!"

    Hmmm
I already have him ahead of Ruth, closing the case.
    Amazing what he's achieved already.

All those stolen bases clinched it for me.
Swinging the bat, pitching ball, plus the stealing bases smarts.
Does it all, at the highest level.

One of the best sporting performances ever.

He's been quite cold in the playoffs, so it's nice to see him have a pop off game like this.

Worth every cent of that billion…..

A wild performance in the context of his own high standards (and agree he’s been below his best) and in the context of the series.

Amazingly, it's not quite as big here in Japan as it should be.
I'm not saying that it isn't getting heaps of traction, but people don't seem to realize just how much of a fucking cheatcode he is, and what this performance represents.

Sure it’ll sink in soon. Hadn’t really been paying attention to the NLCS because the Jays Seattle series sucked up what little attention I’ve got for rounders. First thought on seeing the Ohtani line was good fucking luck to Seattle/Jays in the World Series.

But today I’m thinking how lucky it is for Mariners or Jays fans. Pure win win. Will make the series win far sweeter and if they lose they still got to watch peak Ohtani at the pinnacle of the sport and it’s a fair fucking excuse for losing.
