    Huh?

    There was this tournament joined by a number of British Colonies. But it seems the Afrikaners weren't keen on playing with the English speaking Seffricans. I believe the team representing Britain won.

    Ah yes that’s right, demean a whole people, blame your losses on things like racism and crooked referees - and then pretend it’s all a joke. Of course it’s not serious.

    Porthen earns first Bok call-up in exciting Castle Lager Outgoing Tour squad

    Former Junior Springbok prop and captain Zachary Porthen earned his first Springbok call-up on Monday as national coach Rassie Erasmus named a quality 36-man squad for the Castle Lager Outgoing Tour in November, which features four players who will return to the Bok set-up for the first time this...

    This after slim Jannie tried to avoid/prevent the war. Milner wanted to crush the upstarts. Pretty cool that you are a descendant of Smuts.

    @W32 you lot take it far in our past political history. I lived a few years in Riebeek Kasteel. The hometown of Smuts, Malan and Piet Spiere and his grandson PSdT.

    @mohikamo same, same.

    @W32 my ou Ouma was not a Smuts. She was just a young girl, like a lot of other young boer children, who was placed in a concentration camp.

    Chose Smuts as a handle because it’s a nickname we used to give guys who bitched and moaned. Can’t remember why we used Smuts for whingers. But it works:

    “Fucking porridge for breakfast again? Aah man, it’s cold and lumpy.” “Shut up Smuts.”

    “Fucking one eyed ref screwed us again.” “Fuck off Smuts - you blew a three man overlap.”

    “It’s colder than a witch’s tit. I’m freezing my ballas af.”

    “Shut up Smuts, you wanted to go skiing.”

    Seemed fitting as a South African joining a kiwi forum.

    @Smuts Sappe vs Natte. Way back in the past. My broer het verongeluk by Kloovenburg. Vrou het gewerk by die Kelders , Piet Spiere was die voorsitter en het saam my broer gedien op die rugbyklub. Good old days.
