    @Mauss

Thanks Maaus. A loose trio of Papali'i, Sotutu and Wrampling is looking pretty tasty.

Any word on whether Sotutu is sticking around or not?

rugbypass had an article today suggesting he might be offered a contract as an enhanced player, but it seems very secondhand and sketchy.

He was signed by Toulouse as a journeyman, he became a legend. Awesome player, awesome guy. Take care of him.

I love this news. a player coming home, even past his prime, is nothing but good news for helping create depth etc in the country.

Josh Renton and Eslie Fono have been added to the Blues wider training squad
both were excellent for the Taniwha this year
Renton’s high kick game and ability to work with his forwards will be real asset if there are any injuries in the main squad
Great to see Fono given this opportunity he’s a big body who has real scrummaging ability
Had interest from both the Hurricanes and the Chiefs

@Dan54 Might end up coming back to Harbour for next year's NPC, who knows?

@Steven-Harris I was skeptical when we signed Renton, but he was good for us, and had he not been injured, I reckon he'd have pushed past Nock early in the season.

Really rate Fono, he is a young guy that is immensely strong and works hard on both sides, really pleased he is getting a shot, seems the type that will benefit massively from the professional environment.

Very pleased with that Ahki signing. With Rieko leaving Blues really needed some experience and leadership in the midfield. By all accounts he is still playing well and he should suit the Blues style under Vern Cotter.

What’s Ronan O’Gara doing? Chances of Razor reaching out to an old mate…

Razor to help the Blues by getting Ronan involved? 😉

a 33 year old centre is nothing to sniff about at the moment!

Perofeta seems to be permanently injured, Barrett is often injured, and Plummer is gone. Who might be other options at 10?

Not with the speed it takes him to kick from hand.

He has a great boot but is terrible in the pocket. Its like slow motion.

Fair - I was just thinking if jt got down to the point of needing a 10.

    Rico Simpson presumably around

If he could improve it, he could be something special, but I just don't think he'll get the opportunity or coaching.

His passing can be pretty inaccurate at times.

We're in big trouble if it's Taele or Simpson
