Expected with some of the players running around for Samoa. It's about the standard of an Auckland club rugby side.

Off to Dubai now for a 4 team repecharge tournament against Belgium, Brazil and Namibia.

Namibia will smell blood. Gonna be a challenge to pick up morale in the foreign desert conditions.

Apropos to not much but I just saw the Chilean team's nickname and they are now my second favourite team:

    Los Condorès

Huge upset this morning. Paraguay beat Brazil 39 19 rolling the favoured Brazilians in the forwards. Should be a huge match when Samoa plays Namibia in repechage. Just getting there may satisfy Paraguay.

And every time they take a plane somewhere it is the Flight of Los Condorès....

Samoa should win the qualifying tournament comfortably if they’re able to get all their players who skipped the recent tests back for it

FYI All Blacks XV doesn't capture any players looking to play elsewhere.

YBH, I don't have an issue with it, why tie up a PI player based on a game on an EOYT for this team?

Now that the NPC is over will we see Samoa strengthen their team with players who weren't allowed to play earlier (according to some articles) or are the players they originally selected the team they wanted (according to other articles)?

    1. All New Zealand players are Pacific Island players.
    2. Weird that you want to hamstring the All Blacks with rules that not apply to other international teams. I want to see us win silverware and lots of it.

    1. Why be a dick?
    2. I don't think the odd PI player who gets a run for the AB XV and then never makes the ABs and then switches to a PI team is stopping us winning silverware.

Marginal gains and all that. Other nations are engaged in signing up as much talent as they can (look at Ireland and Scotland). I've no problems with us doing the same, especially now that the stand down period has been reduced to 36 months.

Woe betide any commentator linking the name of Ivory Coast's Womens 2nd Team to a barging try by a sizeable Ivory Coast prop, or any team member for that matter.
