    Nathan Smith

    Test match batting average: 25
    ODI batting average: 6

He didn't look like keeping a good one out today.

Tail threatening to wag against Rashid though.

Thought Foulkes was the main chance, but maybe it's Tickner!

Second time England have bowled well down leg and it's not been called wide.

Hilarious batting, yet inspired at the same time.

I thought that was a bridge too far once Mitchell went. Tail has more grit than the top order, nicely done.

I like the way Tickner strode out confidently and patted Mitchell on the back as he passed him with a don't worry mate I have got this strut. Quite reassuring after Nathan Smith looked like a deer in headlights.

A win by two wickets to seal a 3-0 series win against England. Hardly champagne cricket from either side in this series, but there's no doubt which team was better.

I'm assuming you shat the bed being up so early on a Satdee to watch Cricket of all things ?

8am isn't generally considered that early and had to watch on the magic stick with all the channels which is downstairs. Thanks for your interest.

some interesting stats mentioned before, worst ever top 4 performance in an ODI series ever (min 3 games) ..not just England..ever. Bangladesh previously held the record for touring teams, but it is now Englands

That's an early Bangladeshi team at that, when, like all newcomers to tier 1 international cricket, they struggled.

Also, Daryl Mitchell averaged 178 for the series, which is fantastic. England's average score was 207, so not much better really.

ODI is so much more watchable than T20. You can play out dot balls - defense can build to attack. T20 is just smashing everything, it's single paced and a bit boring after a while.

The nasty four over the keeper by Tickner yesterday was far more satisfying than yet another boundary in T20

It's not all that bad, during the game they showed a stat for ODI winning percentage at homesince 2019. I can't remember the exact details but the Black Caps were well on top with something like 96% and only 2 losses.
