Love the stadium atmosphere but I’ve spent most of my day whilst pretending to work watching videos of people in pubs celebrating the winner and the goal at the death

yeah me too, and all of them put a massive smile on my face. Guys imploring the ref to blow the whistle and then suddenly everything just explodes!

Premier League to introduce a spending cap from next season

Premier League to introduce a spending cap from next season

Clubs' on-field spending will be restricted to 85% of their football revenue and net profit or loss on player sales.

Doesn't this continue to give the advantage to the richer clubs?

29 years ago today, Ali Dia played his one and only Premier League game for Southampton FC and almost scored a goal.

The Sunday League player must ranks as one of sport's greatest con artists.

Surely money in brown envelopes must have been involved somewhere in this?

A fantastic second half comeback by the Villa at Leeds. Two goals by Morgan Rogers. 2-1 and up to fourth. 🔥

Arsenal running away for the North London derby. Eberechi Eze with a hat trick. First one in a North London derby game since 1978.

A good game. Eze could have had a fourth soon after his third goal.

The introduction of Malen after halftime changed the game.

PSV thumped Liverpool 4-1 at Anfield. To leave them in a precarious state in the Champions League. Not sure how long this can go on for Arnie Slot.

I wonder if Jurgen Klopp still answers Fenway Group's calls?

Liverpool have lost 9 out of their last 12 games. Their worst run of form since November 1953 to January 1954.

This is after spending £450 million on new players between May and September of this year.

Mohamed Salah says ‘I’ve been thrown under the bus’ and signals Liverpool exit

Mohamed Salah, left on the bench as Liverpool drew at Leeds, has said his relationship with Arne Slot is broken and that Brighton could be his last game

Meanwhile Villa win in the last minute against Arsenal and it is 3 clubs separated by 3 points.

9 wins from 10 by Aston Villa in the league. Last time we achieved that was December 1919.

    Very happy days. 😎

Is that about as good a group as the All Whites could have hoped for? Looks to me like one that you could at least dream about qualifying from as the 4th seed, unlike say, the German or Brazilian group.
