Fantastic ton to Latham, means a bit to him as well

Was very cool see how pumped he was. First as captain, first vs West Indies, first in 40 innings.

This partnership has taken control of the game now. We'll presumably look to bat another couple of sessions and then declare with a lead of about 5-600

Huge session. Pretty much the winning of the test match right then and there.

Much needed ton from captain Latham and Ravindra coming in, playing risky but dominating as well.

247/2 lead of 311. Brilliant stuff.

When the keeper is yelling out 'enjoy cricket boys' you know that the fielding team is struggling.

Kane will be kicking himself, and possibly me for jinxing him, on missing out today. We are piling it on now, game over already just depends on when we declare but with it only being day 3, we don't need to declare at all.

@No-Quarter Declaration - just before lunch tomorrow - with a lead somewhere in excess of 500.

What a shot to bring up a ton. Have managed to watch virtually every ball.

Gave a couple of chances early on but he's played with swagger and authority. Superb knock and well needed with KW going cheaply, Mitchell not there and Blundell unlikely to bat.

Great work son. 103 not out.

Young will be sitting in the pavillion wandering if he'll get a chance to score a ton too or if these two will just keep on batting.

Ha yeah was thinking of him. He's on a bit of a hiding to nothing if one of these guys gets out soon.

Ravindra reminds me of Clive Lloyd (that's one for older viewers). Early in his innings he can look awful, like he's going to get out next ball. But once he's in you can't bowl to him.

Pretty sure Latham was on 125 when Ravindra got to 100.

    Latham now 132, Ravindra 157.

    Shows how dominant he’s been.

I've felt Ravindra has possibly been talked up slightly too much on here and was maybe a bit of a flat track bully but I'm coming round to him. He came in at a potentially banana skin period and has utterly dominated.

Very, very nice to watch too. Left handers often are for whatever reason.

Roach gets Latham. Excellent knock in tough initial conditions.

No night watchman, Young in !

Ravindra has made a mess of this calculation.

And as I type, Shields makes a mess of his stumps!

I'd still bat for an hour tomorrow - shut the door on a Windies win and run them around in the field!

They are going to need several batsmen scoring several times above their average

Looks like it will be fine.

If we were playing Australia we wouldn't be contemplating declaring overnight and leaving six sessions to get these runs, so I don't think we should leave any sort of door ajar for the Windies either, just so the boys can have a game of golf on Saturday afternoon!

Hope to crush them and get some batting practice at the same time.

On a side note I am disappointed, but not surprised, Stevenson is in trouble for calling the Chirst College guys 'syrup suckers'. It was just a bit of banter and sadly as usual nowadays there seems to be people lining up to be offended on behalf of others. So much for sticks and stones.
