@hikastags @Bovidae
..Was chatting to Pouri’s dad a few weeks ago, couldn't say too much but now that the cats out of the bag ,heads of to Newcastle Red Bulls post Super Rugby
Domiciled on around 95 x games for Hawkes Bay atm but I guess he can catch those when he returns to NZ
Also has an english mother and grandparents so also qualifies for englandgreat servant for the Magpies and the canes. Decieving turn of pace especially in earlier years and recall he sets some pretty high benchmarks in the power lifting department. Also rate how hes never gotten ready of the mop on his head.

@Steven-Harris
Maybe but given the presence of Genge and Baxter plus Obano's emergence, I still have some doubts about his capacities to be selected. -
Sotutu now confirmed as goooone.
No doubt he will continue to be one of the most frequently mentioned players in All Blacks threads.

Think he's made a mistake to take up a contract in the north of England rather than a cushy French or Japanese contract.
He might be trying to prove the haters wrong by making the England side but there's a good chance Borthwick has no genuine interest in him. Zach Mercer won Top 14 POTY (the same time Sotutu was super rugby player of the year), moved back to England to make the test team and was subsequently completely ignored by old Borthers. They have a surplus of loosie talent already and there'll be skepticism around him considering he was snubbed by the ABs.
Should have chosen Fiji, in fact I hope he still does! Good luck to him regardless.

Obviously there are no guarantees. But after the way he was treated by the All Blacks I would have thought his management team would have had some pretty frank discussions with the English about where they saw his future with the national team

What a waste.
I liked when Razor fans were defending him for dropping Sotutu and calling him lazy and what not when in reality Jason Ryan had a hatred for him and it didn't matter what he did as he was never getting picked regardless.
