I haven't seen any print journalists go anywhere near this yet. So yeah, I'm sceptical.

I wouldn't call it ego necessarily, but if someone forces assistants you don't want on you at the expense of someone you have worked with for a long time and have loyalty to, some people would walk.

My ideal scenario is Hansen is sacked.
Ardie goes to Japan and isn't selected again.
Scott Barrett isn't burdened with the captaincy.
Some semblance of logic is applied to the selection process for the next squad. -

Not sure on anything else.
But if true something will break ,because an AB camp without the coaching staff and different people running it will send Jurnos in to a spin. -

Rennie is a good bet for turning around an underperforming team in a short period of time.
