I was never in fosters corner to get the gig in the first place but they really could do worse that give it back to him and get schmidt back together, will get the players behind them and mead bridges. my doubts are will he deal with sevea and barett

So Rúaidhrí O'Connor also reads TSF.

It's a good idea, from what I understand posters here broke the bloody story.

Ardie going to Europe is complete bullshit from his agent.

Leinster can't afford him (if they're paying him anywhere near the EUR 500k they're paying Jordie and Rieko.)
The Top 14 season is 30+ games long and get paid less than in Japan.

They'd also expect him to hit a ruck as a loose forward.

There aren’t many options available right now.

Scary if they are looking to push Razor and his merry men out the door

That really is the issue isn't it?

NZR seem to have burned so many bridges over the last few years that a new coaching set-up is likely to mean a fair amount of Test inexperience in the mix. I think getting someone who can work with the players is really key - whether old school or empathetic doesn't matter.

Regardless of who is lined up to take over, calamitous or otherwise, I welcome Razor being sacked purely to remind everyone that poor performance won’t be tolerated. There has to be consequences from the dugout to the field.

I don’t want to go fully down the soccer route but we haven’t been sacking or dropping people half enough lately.

if Razor is gone sacked on player power. The next coach has a hell of a job as he will be run by the Senior players
That is a disaster the tail wagging the dog has never worked what happens if the players dont like the next coach.
Looks like the players are going to coach themselves and are untouchable, selections become a closed shop on their say so no mates getting dropped at any time.Certain players will be bigger than the game that should never happen.
Player Power brings a lot of teams down and they never come back.
If certain players are not sent packing with the coaches NZR are on a dog lead on certain players whims.

He's been sacked becauses he's the worst All Black coach of the professional era.

All vibes and no substance. And a shit "haircut

That is not my point and you know it,Sack him on his record not on players saying I won't play if he is coach those players can Fuck right off.

If he's held grudges, or failed to approach players with an open mind, he should be gone

So glad the fraud got his comeuppance.

Why are you dancing for joy? This is going to destroy NZ rugby for the foreseeable future. There is no obvious choice and it’s ignoring the rot that’s been there for 8-9 years. Unless most of the players group goes with him, this is for naught

Mitchell's record wasn't terrible. But his personal management was terrible and that's what got him chopped. Same with Razor. Poor performance and poor personal relationships go hand in hand

That's easily addressed when it comes to selecting the very next squad.

I'd get rid of Ryan as well, we had the Blues loose forwards, which were totally dominating, and not a single one makes the AB's, something suspicious was happening there. Unless that was Razors call.

If i'm honest i'm pleased that there's people in ABs that care enough to deliver honest feedback and at NZR that are bold enough to pull the trigger.

Well done David Kirk, Keven Mealamu etc

I hope most of the details are made public too. It's in NZR's best interest to explain how bad the environment was
