We have removed the Google Ads from the site, and are trialing the Patreon membership model.

Let me know if you hit any issues, or have suggestions for improvements. I have set up the bare minimum, and we’ll see how it works.

One of the possibilities is to show targets for improvements to the server setup, so you see what each target gets you as a user.

The first benefit for all users is no more ads for everyone, regardless if you donate or not. The new mobile ads have become rather obnoxious, covering content. And those following the language thread understand the speech restrictions.

Today we had a restricted demand policy violation for, we think, using hooker in a post. Problematic for team naming threads...

So let’s see how this works, and we’ll tinker and respond to your feedback.

Good stuff lads, I never minded the ads personally as I knew you boys were getting paid for it. However, once they start becoming more work for you ... then I agree that makes no sense.

Will sort out some cash for you once the card stops smoking from buying tickets to the rascass bar for the Monaco Grand Prix.
