    Seven Seconds.

    Pretty decent show about racism and cops covering for their own. Definitely topical given the climate in the US at the moment. Worth a watch.

    Is that about Kalief wharshisface?

    Have given up on Snowpiercer. A bunch of characters I don’t give a fuck about, Jennifer Connolly looks like a walking skeleton and the complete implausibility irked me too much. Utter crap.

    I’m no automotive engineer but how could a single train haul 1001 ( extremely large ) carriages ?

    Netflix has produced a few duds recently (e.g., The Last Days of American Crime, Space Force).

    I started on Dark last night as it has been on my watch list for a while. Intriguing.

    @taniwharugby Dark gets plenty of praise and S3 starts next week so I thought now is as good a time as any.

    @taniwharugby

    I've watched S1 and S2 of Dark, I loved it. It's in my "loved it but if I'm honest didn't really understand all of it" bucket.

    It's a big bucket

    I haven't seen Space Force yet but have heard mixed reports about it. It's by one of the Parks and Recs guys so it could very likely turn into a cracking show in the space of a season.

    Netflix has always had a mix of good and dud shows, I just think the good ones stay in the consciousness a bit longer.

    @taniwharugby I don't think the Godfather is on Oz Netflix either, it's on Stan, which I have and recently re-watched the trilogy.

    @Nepia I know it is a TSF tradition to not read articles linked in, but it mentions Aus Netflix is ranked worse than ours....

    We have the second-lowest number of Emmy Award-winning TV shows (although it's cheering to know that the only country worse off in this regard is Australia) and we're 11th from the bottom when it comes to Academy Award-winning movies.

    IMO it would require another season.

    Hahaha, yep, I followed tradition. I pretty much only watch Netflix shows on Netflix so am not fussed about the other shows they have. With them, Stan, Apple Tv, Amazon, Disney Plus I can't keep up with my tv watching as it is.

    The rights to different movies and TV series is spread across the different platforms in NZ. As mentioned in the article, The Godfather trilogy are on Amazon.

    Let's see what happens when Neon and Lightbox merge as the latter had a few movies I would have watched but I refuse to pay to rent them.
