@Crucial weaker than you thought it would be?? I'd argue the title gave most of the quality of it away 😂

I was hoping for kick-ass, scantily clad young women.
    The cladding isn’t scant enough

@Crucial it'd be like if you watched any of the Sharknado movies, Sharktopus , Mega Shark vs Crocasaurus or Zombie Tidal Wave and were surprised they werent that great 😉

@Bones I'm struggling with Dark. For one, I'm not a fan of dubbing and for two, I'm finding it difficult to remember which whining teenager is which. I shall persevere for a bit longer though.

Yeah - the netflix dubbing is odd eh - it's like they choose 2-3 of the most emotionless, bland actors to voice all the characters. Seems a bit better in dark than in others I've watched recently, so it's watchable but not super captivating.

To be fair Warrior Nun is far more like Umbrella Academy in vibe but gets a bit too teeny at times

@Bones It was like the Israeli series, Fauda, I watched maybe 3 or 4 with dubbing, then the rest of the series with subtitles, subtitles worked so much better.

Which reminds me, I dont think I have finished S2

    Toast Of London

Some genuinely weird shit in here from Matt Berry (IT Crowd) and a range of recurring and cameo guests (Jon Hamm, various British actors). Overall I found it was better to binge the 18 episodes over 3 series, which were loosely connected and ranged from "hilarious" to "WTF?"

Some nudity in there as well. Masonic Orgy is all I'll say.

I have only just caught up with this one. Hidden Gem IMO.

Watching it after seeing him in WWDITS makes it even funnier.

Altered Carbon S2 isn't a patch on the first. It's missing nearly everything that made the first so good.

I hope it gets better in the 2nd half

@mariner4life I binged it while in quarantine, thinking all the time "this is so stupid, and the characters are so flimsy, but what else am I going to do?"

They got a bigger name actor to be Kovacs and somehow made the character worst.

I mean, I've watched 5 of 8 episodes. Now i have to stop because the kids came home. And i wonder if I will bother finishing

Although the kids could probably watch it. It's not overly violent, and there are no titties

@Crucial if you keep up with Bob Mortimer's "train guy" he makes a great Jeff Linton too.

Just throw in the fact it’s set on a ridiculously long train in an ice age and you can bet I’ll be sidestepping it too.
