@JC same problem using a Huawei on Chrome. I don't even have another browser installed on my phone from what I can see.
Not a huge problem for me anyway, I can switch to desktop view if I feel I need to waffle on past 8lines.

I quoted your post then typed in that response. Had no extra lines returns between the quote and my reply, and it showed my reply within the quote. Added a space and it separated out.

I've previously had to add '>' to show quoted text.

Will try and replicate below FYI.

I think the quotes have always done that. The markdown shit can be a bit sensitive

The height/keyboard issue was a nodebb bug that only impacted some android phones. They've fixed it in a future release. The workaround fix will work fine for now
