TR you and I are exactly at the same point so feel free to read.....
There was an episode with lots of Burton flashbacks but the copy I had fucked up so missed a bit but the gist of it is Proctor rescued him from being tortured and he is a eunech who doesn't feel much pain. As I mentioned he does irritate me so I'm hoping someone gives him his beans. I have a feeling Proctor will go out in spectacular fashion but not at Hoods hands, I think as Crucial alluded to that the Cartel or Nazis may do away with him.
I actually liked it, and not exactly surprised with the ending.

Seems that fan theory you mentioned Virgil might just have some legs after that scene with Tyrion...?

Not too mention they are setting up the original theory of R + L = J
Given the flashback of the young Starks, most notably a pretty kicks ass Lyanna Stark. Next week should be cool with the Tower of Joy flashback too

also want Tommen to man up and deal to the High Sparrow!

Roose deserved eveything he got, he was a fool.Just a victim of Darwin.

With Ramsay destroying a Frey.. that also means that crossing The Twins jut a got a lot easier for anyone who gives Ramsay his beans....

Happy they brought Jon Snow back early too, didn't let it linger all season as you would normally expect the makers to do.
Oh and how much of an awesome angry grumpy bastard is Wun Wun. What a colossal error it was to accidentally shoot him with an arrow.

Part of the problem with converting this type of saga to TV is the many storylines that need to be shown.

If you look at the number of key plotlines currently going you can see how some will get scant time in a series.

they already introduced one form the books which are donew now...but it seemed to fit with things now.

An easy fix to that would have been to expand the number of episodes from 10 to say 12. Sure it's a costly series to make but no doubt HBO is raking it in.
Also if you believe the show runners comment earlier that there's only around 13 episodes left after this season, it all seems a bit rushed with so much left out from the books.

Is that the end of them? Wasted TV minutes then if that is the case. Could have left it alone and it wouldn't have affected the story much at all.

Only thing I can think of is that come the day the three dragons return the Lanisters and Dorne are to busy with each other to notice.

Wun wun is one of the giants right ? if there's one criticism of the show it's that they talk a lot about them but them ( and for that matter Gregor Clegane ) have done fuck all so far. Hope they all feature more as it progresses.

Unless it plays a vital part in the final wash up, Dorne should have been left out altogether. It has been comically bad and wasted valuable time.

The Roose thing is a bit weird. No way would that have happened in the books. The dog thing. Hell yes!

I do like the flashback thing. Would be cool if they showed the Brandon Stark vs Littlefinger "duel".
