    Irish looked very tired - compressing in the middle of the field, going backwards on offense.

    We just need possession and it's all on

    Yep losing 3 players early not helping them.

        Biggest difference for me is the defensive effort. The hits have been massive.

        BBBR and Whitelock have made a real difference on D.

          @Tordah what happened?

          After Fekitoa scored and Barrett was lining up the conversion, the usual TV director shit comes up and he shows the last pass which was flat, a few in the stadium start to boo, Rory Best comes running from behind the posts up to Barrett who was preparing the kick and PEyper and wnats them to check

          Whats wrong with checking something having the correct call? The TMO has already fucked up once in this game. It should be 9-7 to Irish.

            About 3 time now he's taken that hard straight line through the middle and managed to fracture our defence

                  @JustAnotherFan

                  Agree on Barrett try - but not sure on your maths. Generally after a penalty try 5 points are awarded and then a kick from in front takes place - we have to believe even despite his issues Barrett would have kicked that.

                  So even if that was forward (which it clearly wasn't) still 14-9.

                          This has been a bloody good game, despite the reffing and the whinging. Good hard rugby, generally high skill, good coaching (from one side) and a pleasure to watch

                            All the whinging bullshit Irish window dressing aside Ireland have came to play today - they still don't have much on attack unless they catch you on a bad day - but absolutely full credit for actually fronting and giving a good tight test.

                            Schmidt has Ireland playing the type of rugby Gatland has spent 10 years trying to get Wales to play.

                                Yeah, 9 points is poor considering they had 20 minutes against 14, at home, with a crowd influencing a ref

                                    Need to hold on to this margin. No doubt the Irish will claim they won the series if they get within 10

                                      unlike most of our opponents this year

                                          Yes but some are worse than others - Kearns and this mob - I actually don't mind Barnes, et al they at least recongnise good play rather than make excuses
