Highlanders v B&I Lions
-

Three differences from Saturday: -
The roof (Christchurch needs one). Much better game when the ball is dry.
-
Lions mainly dirt-trackers.
-
Southern Hemisphere ref. Lions the ones having to adjust.
Highlanders are doing very well, though. Naholo has been very good - as has Sopoaga. Fekitoa displaying pluses and minuses - but his commitment and leg drive when harnessed correctly are awesome. I thought Hammington would be a crucial weak link, but he's holding his end up. As are the forwards. Doesn't seem like many Lions forcing their way into the test squad?

@taniwharugby said in Highlanders v B&I Lions: @Pot-Hale you're Irish? Yes. Jeez, it takes time for the penny to drop with you Aussies...
-

@Pot-Hale can you blame us, we are a continent of criminals, not always the best and brightest.
-

If Fekitoa, Naholo and the Barracuda were playing for the Lions then this game would be out of sight already.
-

Live by the cross kick, die by the cross kick.
-

@SimonAdd_2 Especially when it is a lollipop with the hang time of Lebron James. Kick was on. Has to be flatter.
-

Just don't do the cross kick in your own half.
-

HIghlanders falling off some tackles here...
-

what was Fekitoa doing there Mr Glassnaholo....
-

Was that a yellow for Sinckler? UK commentary completely missed it
-

@SimonAdd_2 Just a penalty. Ref clarified: "wasn't late, just no arms."
-

@SimonAdd_2 No yellow.
