Looks to me like the Canes are burning all of their good fortune before bloody kickoff. They need to reign it in.

Who would believe seeing that picture, that the bloke in it is one of the best rugby players on the planet?

Hole in one as well. If they hit the casino, the lucky bastard will probably pick up the jackpot on the pokies. And fuck a supermodel.

                Fake news!

The bloke can't kick a big rugby ball through a 5 and a half metre gap yet can hit a little ball with a stick and get it in a piece of drainpipe.

                Yeah right!

The bus is slipping down at this level as well now.
Head-scratcher on what to do with him as it must be in his head. I can't see that his fitness/speed/strength numbers are necessarily down, it's just what he is doing/not doing on the field.

@Crucial haha yep...although hole in ones, despite 'aiming for the hole' are luck! Need so much to go right, my one was a pretty shit shot, hit many much much better shots that have gone in the hole on the full and jumped out, hit the pin and shot off the green...

So maybe, like @Rancid-Schnitzel says, he should go to the casino too, as his luck is on, and long may it continue!

As to Julz, well, like you say, what to do, maybe he needs a break? Maybe he needs to miss TRC and go back to Mitre 10 cup to find his passion and mojo?

There were those rumours that his initial drop a year or two ago was in part due to stresses outside rugby. I wonder if he has his shit sorted out now or if that continues to be a problem?

I'm no Savea fluffer 😉 but Wes Goosen???? WTF.

Didn't Savea get benched for the finals last year (or was it the year before?)

Julian Savea got dropped from the starting team in last year's playoffs. Cory Jane, Jason Woodward and James Marshall was the preferred back 3.

The year before Julian started in the playoffs - played well in the semi v the Brumbies but dropped a ball close to the line in the final vs the Highlanders.

He made that great try saving tackle in the final which kept us in it, too.

Goosen has had a couple of good games this season. I don't think he has done enough on the field to unseat an All Black.
