Germany looking good for a repeat of the Führer Bunker 1945 but Kroos pulled off a Manstein. Still alive but maybe just staving off the inevitable.

Germans on the brink of likely elimination pull out a 95th minute lifesaver by way of a superb free-kick by Kroos. Only place he could put it and it was perfect. Tough for the Swedes who had got so close but Germans missed a fair few chances even down to 10 men.
Group still open, Sweden need a win against Mexico, Germans have to beat S Korea and it could end with 3 teams on 6 points.
