@pukunui The anthem! What got me is he was going fast slow fast slow in the Maori bit. Was he the one singing last week too? He's sung it different every week. He went up at the end last week, down this week. Egg, sing it so people can sing along.

Not sure if it was him last week. It was fine last week. I remember because my 3 year old was singing along. You are right, just sing it so people can sing along. No one has come to watch you perform.

@kirwan thought Goodhue became more prominent with him on his outside too...granted possibly due to French tiring but he looks better when he gets his hands on the ball more.
@taniwharugby he should be pretty happy. Apart from one tackle he was really accurate. Especially taking some ropey passes in contact. Plus he always passes well when he should.

He's not a ”walk into” kinda guy.
He might run side to side around the offer, then maybe zigzag into the side. -

Over the next 12 mons Retallick, Whitelock will be locks with S Barrett at 6.
Barrett is revolutinising the one out quick pass and offloads, creating gaps, as well as providing the hard edge required.
Showing McCawesque mental strength, awesome.For the past few years Todd has had a raw deal, Cane and Todd are way better than anyone else in NZ and Todd is the best at the breakdown

Laughable. Most of the players only just above average. Ben Smith better than SBW. Aaron Smith ordinary.

Did remind me though. Is Franks that bad at taking the ball up that they have just given up on working with him? He's dropping to the floor at the slightest hint of a tackle and never attempts any kind of leg drive. Surely the coaches can improve that easily?

I’m sure the coaches will be tweaking his flat passing by just a smidge. I’m sure it’s how the want him to play but he just pushes it too close to disaster. A bit like Cooper used to for the Wallabies. DMac is just lucky that we are often able to regroup better than some teams.
His decision making was very good and his kicking from hand and tee excellent.
