            Toyota Challenge 2022

            Friday 30 September 2022

            Windhoek Draught Griquas vs Emerging Ireland

            Airlink Pumas vs Emerging Ireland

            KO 16:00 (UK/Irish time)

            Sunday 9 October 2022

            Toyota Cheetahs vs Emerging Ireland

            KO 12:00 (UK/Irish time)

            Cheetahs, Griquas and Pumas are the three Currie Cup Premier League teams not playing in the URC.

            Griquas and Pumas played on the CC final, Cheetahs knock out in the semi final by Pumas.

            Emerging Ireland is basically the 6 Nations u20 2022 champion side.

            They use the tour to build depth for the WC.

              Curious. When did they first identify the issue? Some reports say that they knew he had the issue for some time and the club and FFR doctors were monitoring it.

              @stodders from another article:

              “He must stop his career in France for cardiological reasons. A cardiac anomaly had been detected before the 2019 World Cup in Japan. This anomaly, which is not linked to rugby, has been monitored but it is an evolving pathology. The risk has become too great.”

                    @Higgins Is Tuitavuki not injured? I assumed he must be considering Sapsford's appearances on the wing.

                    Also, do you know what the words and initials mean? I assume area from Tonga they're from?

                      @Nepia The initials relate to the island the boys' village/s is/are in. TT stands for the main island of Tongatapu, Eu for Eua, VV for Vava'U, HP for Ha'apai but not sure what NTT represents but suspect that it refers to Niautoputapu. Maybe @NZZP might be able to provide a bit more clarity here?

                          A VPN and signing up to a free month trial of Amazon Prime sounds like a pretty viable option.

                                Yeah, but maybe he's glad to be out. The coaches have all gone off to do something else, all 485 of them, doesn't mean Eddie is not a great push factor
