Ian Foster's attack plans not good enough against the modern, super organised, super committed defences.

Our attack is fine. We had the opportunities to score points, we just didn't get over the line. That is on the players not the coaches.

We started to look good, in the 78th minute.

Retallick argghhhhhhh. We had players out wide too.

            Well done Ireland.

Not too concerned. It all has a familiar feel to 2014 to me.

We started to look good in the 50th minute but fucked it up with our continuous kicking. Had we been more patient, we would have scored.

Some of the subs came on too late and for the wrong players.

Particularly, Mo'unga should have come on sooner; Todd, too and should have replaced Read.

Cane would have made a big difference today - but I still can't see this team winning three high-stakes tests in consecutive weeks next year.

The coaching team can bang on about trying new tactics and plans all they like - it's the basic skills and decision making that is killing them.

@rotated this was about physical contact rugby. Cane would have made a huge difference. Ardie is a different player and to me just doesn’t have that impact.

The tactics this year of kicking have let us down. We are not working on passing and running. When we need to the skills are not there.

                  Great Irish performance. Clinical.

Can't say enough about Ireland that was a clinical, replicable performance.

Ireland are building like the champion England team IMO. Taking the required scalps one at a time and will enter the tournament with every reason to believe they can win it.

We were pretty dreadful in that game. What has happened to our ability to penetrate and score tries?

It was our inability to go forward, silly mistakes that cost us momentum, made everyone look bad. Only Ardie and S Barrett can hold their heads up high

50-65min mark we were coming, then stopped. Maybe should've pushed for the corner instead of taking the penalty.

I think Perenara should've started - hes in better form than A.Smith.
We need something different in midfield - we're not making any metres there (even when SBW plays)

We need to seriously consider Mo'unga now. Teams have worked out Barrett. Can Barrett adapt?

@hydro11 our kicking is clearly fucked. Not regaining possession. Being the first option with front foot running ball means it is in the headspace of the players. Got to sort that shit out.

We started to look good in the 50th minute but fucked it up with our continuous kicking. Had we been more patient, we would have scored.

Yeah, we did start to open it up but lacked composure when it mattered. Disappointing as we have generally been very clinical in that regard in previous seasons.

So Vs those tight suffocating teams we need Mo'unga at ten, Beaudy not upto it. He's great in an open game, get him at fifteen already

AND HOLD ONTO THE FUCKING BALL

Something I've been yelling at the screen since 2016

@taniwharugby yep, nailed it that time. We were pretty average weren’t we? Apart from line outs it’s hard to see any area where we had an edge.
