RWC: Fiji v Australia (Pool D)
-
Fiji put on a great initial hit on the maul, but they splintered themselves again and then got nothing
-
BOK let that sort of shit go quite a few times but NOW it's a problem because he decided the red zone is a bigger issue than consistency.
As I predicted.
@NTA to be fair, Fiji not helping themselves self..discipline going out the window and Australia finally exploited a narrow defensive screen ..

Nah, Australia broke off from themselves with players in front. Should have been penalised.

@Anonymous they did that too...but Fiji made it worse.
I hate how the pen is 3m on one side of half way, he runs up and ends up kicking it 2m on the other side...
Owens last night pushed players back trying that.

Fijij probably lucky that phase before the t/o one of thier players played the ball/Aus guy illegally
-
Stay in the fight Fiji!!

Is it the lighting in the stadium, or all the Aussies forgot how to kick?

Thank BOK for that.
There's a bloke who deserves a try. Well done Marika

Is it just me, or is watching the pool games in world cups really frustrating? The underdogs get in positions to cause upsets then fall away at the end of the game and lose.

Fiji defence caught way too narrow again.

@Anonymous totally agree..the real key figure for me in the 2nd half for Fiji was the halfback..unfortunately he’s been bloody poor..to just kick the ball for touch was just playing rugby back into Australia’s hands..you are better off trying to carry outside of their 22 ..and trying to create something..

Pity that Nadolo "retired" just before the RWC, he could have made a difference in this match with some of his play like when he was a Crusader.
