I have no idea either. I saw England listed as form favourites but I thought S.A. were at LEAST even money. And so it was!

She says (having checked news web sites) "Quite controversial apparently". Seems she had read some comment about "Kiwi TMO" Skeenie and forward passes. I've been hunting for said comments but can't find anything.
I can only assume it was referring to the Marx pass to Mapimpi that they had a close look at. From behind (which was the angle they seemed to concentrate on) it looked line ball at worst. From side on it goes backwards. Not much controversial in that.
Did see Stuff.co.nz have a reference to "controversial" in the banner headline that flashed up when I clicked on them, but could find no further reference.
Has there been much comment on the scrum officiating?
All looked clean and good to me.

The BBC had a bit about a forward pass for the first Bokke try being checked but that's about it

@Chris-B that's not actually in the rulebook regarding forward passes. Its the direction out of the hand,most definitely forward. Weird how they showed only 1 angle from the most flattering angle and only a couple of times,ive seen games where its dissected to the nth degree but not this time.
