Cricket: NZ vs Aus

Only the back foot being outside is a no ball right?
I'm a bit confused about that. I know the back foot only has to touch the return crease, the one that runs parallel to the pitch, for a no ball. But not sure about the front foot, other than it can touch the return crease.
Staggered that a whole foot out of the white painted crease " box" is legal in any way shape or form.
Anyone got the oil on that?
21.5.2 the bowler’s front foot must land with some part of the foot, whether grounded or raised
-
on the same side of the imaginary line joining the two middle stumps as the return crease described in 21.5.1, and -
behind the popping crease.
If the bowler’s end umpire is not satisfied that all of these three conditions have been met, he/she shall call and signal No ball.

Aus 6 down in their second innings, but over 400 runs ahead. What's the bet they cruise along for another 100 runs or so, then declare and put us in right when the lights come on.

They could declare now ... new ball, then get 10 overs with the second new ball under lights. If they need that many.

Timmy and Wags have picked up 5/36 with a ball that was already 40 overs old in the last hour under lights.
About the only thing the Aussies have to worry about is if the pitch deteriorates further and becomes too dangerous to play on - especially with Starc and Cummins steaming in.

Can we opt for a spiked roller?

Well done Aus. Clinical execution of a plan and finally the kiwi resolve hit a judder bar with a below standard turn at bat.
Starc for man of the match even if wicketless in the second dig.
Mind you Timmy steaming in last night was a timely reminder that the old boys see this series as their Mecca. We'll be 1 down but not written off by those who've watched NZ over the last couple of years.
A shame that a look at the scorecard has you thinking of a team with Fleming, Cairns or Vettori as the key personnel.
We've been better than that, but Oz have been better again; another plaudit to Langer and his men.
The pitch will ensure that any dream of a Paddybatch miracle will be just a dream, and as pointed out, we're going to have to find a way to tire those quicks. Funny but 10-15 km/hr might be the ultimate difference between these teams when it's all said and done.
One nil and a big rest heading into Melbourne

@NTA you're a bit grumpy today, early start on the cans?
Headache. Stitches in my back are infected. Smoke back in Sydney today. Got the the shits with life in general.

Nothing a 350 run win tonight won't cure...

@Donsteppa yep, I don't expect us to come close to saving this game, but it would be nice to make Australia actually force 10 wickets.
