Well, got fuck all of the Lions ...

Missed 2 x ABs. First test 3 and third test 8.

Missed 27 of 45 BILs. Of those I could 'see" one which would have given me two but couldn't think of his name.

A couple of others I may / perhaps should gave got. But there were some VERY forgettable names in that lot huh? No wonder they got reamed.

I didn't remember the selection of the Lions being such a revolving door at the time but in retrospect, what a cluster fuck. Then to run into Carter playing the game of his or anyone else's life in the middle of it all.

All the ABs but only 9 of the Lions.

To my shame I missed our tighthead from the 1st test - I could see him - I knew all his background - but I could not remember his name.

Also the 8 from 3rd test. I would never have got him. Got 14/45 for the Lions. Even after seeing the answers there is at least one name I simply do not know.

Either there are two answers to the first option or its not working as the one I know isn't accepted

I got all players but the Lions 15, 14 and 13 in the 3rd test - a game I was at.

I watched a replay of all the tests a few months back on the Sky pop-up channel so many of their players were more fresh in my mind.

As someone who lives across the dutch, I had a go and got 8/12. I have little knowledge of the competition and mostly just randomly guessed from places and names.

I missed one club and I've actually played on their home ground and spent time at their club rooms - but that was many years ago.

When the AB season starts, that's when I start needing to update quizzes.

Looking forward to updating the AB Centurions quiz if K. Read stays fit throughout the Lions series.

Also will be interesting to see if J.Barrett gets a run. If he does I'll update the AB Brothers and Debuts before 21 quiz.

I've never lived in Australia and I got 8/12 as well - mainly by typing in a few league teams and a few obvious club names. (I got two out of Graham Lowe).

In fact, I only knew the most famous one.

The last 1966 provincial team is obviously the hardest.

@dogmeat My point wasn't so much who was in that team (and I agree with you) but what the team was called. There were other such teams in the same era that played touring teams.

@Bovidae Ah I have the advantage of having watched the same team play the Lions in 71 so pretty familiar with the make up of all the composite sides

Hmm. I was a bit torn on that when I did the quiz. No doubt I will have cause to update the quiz again soon so might just change it. What do others think?
