Who would you like to see come back and get a contract in a NZ franchise ?
Props : Charlie Faumuina. Still going strong. Siegfried Fisihoi'i. Nothing flashy but probably the strongest scrummager on the LH side of the whole Top 14. Owen Franks ? Jeff Toomaga-Allen ?
Hookers : Hika Elliott ?
Locks : B. Retallick, of course.
Loose forwards : S. Luatua. Not really as there are a lot of big bruising 6s in NZ right now. Joe Edwards. Great experience, solid and cool headed. Brad Shields ?
Half-back : TKB. Would be welcome nearly everywhere.
1st Five : Ihaia West ? Botica ? Lima Sopoaga ?
Midfield : George Moala. He would be the ABs 12.
Toeava : his experience could be welcome in a few franchises (Blues, Highlanders, even the Crusaders). Charlie Ngatai. Malakai Fekitoa.
Back three : Piutau, Toby Arnold (outstanding in the Top 14) -

I can't believe he didnt get more of a go. I suppose Nonu being brilliant and SBW and his managers negotiating skills made it tough for George of the Jungle to get game time at 12.

@MN5 When Moala last played for the Blues, I still remember all the comments on the Fern of how very, very slow he looked and didn't achieve much. He definitely didn't deserve an ABs call-up at the time. I think the relatively slow pace of the Top 14 suits him well and possibly makes him look better than he'd be in SR.

@ACT-Crusader I actually think he was an underrated player, and deserved more ABs caps, at some point (he definitely was better than James Parsons at the time).
I'd always pick Ash Dixon over him though, who should have been capped by the ABs IMO.
