I'm absolutely gutted for a friend of mine. The Wellington test would have been the first ABs test ever she'd go to. Now, she'll have to wait at least another year.

Going by the WA border website - NZ is considered very low risk - i.e. quarantine is currently not required when travelling from NZ to WA - the issue is getting back to NZ.

Not trying to convince you, but I guess the way in Oz to look at it is these sports are businesses and business travellers appear to have been getting exemptions throughout the pandemic.

Amazing continuity! I don’t think they’ve gotten any better.

My instinct is that ABs will handle them.

By handle, I didn't mean get on top. But starting five of Joe/Codie/Nepo/Sam/Brodie will hold their own.

If they have PSDT and Thor back we may be under pressure a bit in loose forwards, albeit ours are faster.

Their inside backs are less dangerous than Wallabies.

If we can get some fast ball, I'd expect us to score some fives, whereas they'll be looking for threes, with maybe a maul try thrown in.

Yes could be, and much depends on their 9, I'd say a maul try attempt would be highly likely.

Rennie reckons the entire rest of the RC will need in Perth, aside from SA v Argentina.
ABs will drip feed in extra numbers, makes sense. No one has opted out of tour yet.

So why is TRC being played in Perth, when Oz has a much higher threat of a covid outbreak there right now? (considering they currently have an outbreak in the country) Wouldn't it have made more sense to stage it in NZ?
