Farrell had already announced his decision not to make himself available in this Six Nations championship, citing his wish to prioritise his and his family’s mental financial wellbeing.

But I kid, good on him. Saracens were going to make him a marquee player, according to rumour, meaning Itoje would miss out - as they are going from 2 down to 1 outside the salary cap. It would unlikely be a huge jump on top of what he'd get in England (not like NZ to France) He's getting on, and slow turtle sexcockwomble shows what happens to 10s who stay too long. Make some money, have some fun, a little less glare than being booed by fans.

He still a dirty tackler that has gotten away with all sorts, but can't begrudge him the change

Durban and Ellispark pulling crowds of the 30,000 plus on the weekend in derby URC clashes.

Sadly the home teams lost to the Bulls and Stormers.

This weekend the SA shield decider at Loftus aim to pull a record URC crowd of 50,000.

Cheapest tickers are undr R100 for URC, Ellispark you pay extra for safe paking. Next weekend the Bulls made it a Dricus du Plessis welcome to Loftys day. He visited both teams on his SA tour.

The URC have this nice gesture this and next weekend by making it origin match days. Players must wear either their club or schools socks and spectators the jerseys. Was cool to see the commentators wearing the jerseys. Obvious Grey Bloem and the Paarl schools and Paul Roos dominating.

cracking weekend, Quins game was chefs kiss. Having been at the Toulouse game at the Stoop before Christmas, I can't see how Quins beat them if they front up like they did that day. That said, I thought Quins would get battered in Bordeaux so what do i know

Did you see the Exeter v Toulouse game? The Frenchies turned up in the second half and just blew Exeter away. Their continuity was brilliant. Quins will have a chance if the first half Toulouse turn up, not sure if the second half team turn up though. So good.
