Crazy thing is if you look at most top sports leagues, the designs are simple (NFL, NBA, most soccer/football kits), so it's not as if they are following trends with these designs.And if you listen to their fans, they still think any new Jersey is ugly. I'm a jets fan (for my sins), and they released a new Jersey this year that was basically a slightly different shade of green with a white stripe on each shoulder. Fan base likes the green, but still thinks the jerseys are hideous.
Fans hate change.

I had to google to see when you last held the Shield. Seems like you might have attracted a "Curse of the Bambino" due to your disgraceful conduct as shield holders!
You might need to have an exorcism at Okara Park - send offerings to Otago and Southland, summon and worship Laurie Mains, sacrifice a few virgins if you can find them...that sort of thing!

@antipodean It Reminds me of Australian Rugby putting a Wallaby jersey on a muppet like Nick Cummins or The Honey Badger or Bunny badger what ever he was called.

Tim Perry.. of all the players who had multiple starts for the Blues he was the worst. Second place is miles behind him. Think of all the crap players that played for the Blues over the decades Tim Perry was number one. Well done.

Managed to win three super rugby titles though!
Didn't really watch him at the blues but he was decent for the crusaders and ultimately managed to push crockett out of starting his last final.
