I hate ref whinging. It’s a bloody hard job and if we are blaming the ref then the players need to man up. There have been no blatantly atrocious calls imo.

The Ireland bench mainly has wizened veterans. I would hope the youth on the NZ bench might count for something.

We really have had no ball, we spent bugger all time in their 22.Precisely what I thought half way through (in boxing terms) - stay just out of range, make them throw lots of punches, make their arms heavy!

It’s not really out of keeping with world rugbys protocols though. It was a probably a penalty at worst but the way they saw it they applied the guidelines.

How many times does the ref have to tell the Irish player to let it go. Just penalise him.
