@mariner4life but can this translate to international level? I’m with you in a way but why do I keep coming back to Picamoles? Have to play with what we have. I like the Otago 8 and even PGS because of size and being I an AB environment would heighten their skills.

Dunno about an Otago 8, but maybe you mean the Hawke's Bay 8, who plays for the Highlanders, Marino Mikaele-Tu'u?

Christie is behind a dominant pack. (the reason often used to not pick certain Cantabs in the past)

In my opinion, Foster's fascination with the Crusaders needs to stop, Nankivell,Tupaea, RTS/Reiko besides Goodhue are the in form midfield backs. If the Crusaders have one glaring weakness it is their midfield.

because he was poor last year at test level. Has been pretty average this year at Super level
But he'll get picked because he's been there before. It's this kind of shit that gets the punters offside.

@Chris-B probably what he is saying is that it is extraordinary that Foster still thinks he is a 12 when most of us don’t. I understand your rational for Fosters thinking but that highlights Fosters weakness as a coach for a position he never deserved.

@mariner4life It's a tough job being the All Black coach - I guess that's why he gets the big bucks.
Fozzie could have picked Tupaea more last year, but he didn't. Makes you wonder why not.
Dave is far from a cast iron certainty, but they will spend a lot of time picking their midfield, because they have some big problems there - and his name will get mentioned a lot.
