Looked like the track was really ramping up too, pretty poor effort. It was weird watching him do sector PBs then finishing and tumbling down the grid - was his final sector shit?

His PBs weren't competitive with everyone else.
Could just be it's a dog of a car that Max performs miracles in.
There are rumours Max will be in Team MB.

His PBs weren't competitive with everyone else.

I think they’ll give him a few more races to get a handle on things but if he doesn’t improve by mid season I’d say he will be gone. Brutal sport.

Red Bull's Liam Lawson, who will start the race in last on Sunday, told Sky Sports: "It's really tough, the window is really small, it's honestly not an excuse, I've got to get a handle of it.
"It was a messy session and had we of not dealt with traffic and stuff like that, we might have been ok but it's not good enough to be having those issues and that being the reason that we get knocked out.
"We should be fast enough on our fast lap, it shouldn't be an issue. I just need to get on top of it." -
Interesting that Lawson, Perez, Albon have all struggled as Max's number 2. Is the car just set up 100% for Max and the number 2 driver is just an after though? That's probably to simplistic.
I'm also glad Lawsons not blaming the car. The last thing a new driver should be doing is blaming your crew. You need the crew on your side. -

I read an article in the run up to China, that Lawson's car was still using the higher down force rear wing from Melbourne. Not sure if that was actual.
