Scored the try last year that saved Foster’s job.

Schmidt's RWC experience of getting pumped in a quarter final must be useful at the selection table......

            No Finau! FFS.

            Christie.

            Havilli.

            🤮

Ah well, time to shut of my phone and hopefully watch a good movie over the Ta$man.

Drama queens a plenty on this forum. You’d think these guys are disabled cripples. Sure Christie is no world-beater but he’s hardly dreadful. I don’t think Webber is so amazingly good that it’s a shocking decision. And I don’t think ennor is so incredible that Havili is lucky. Besides ennor is probably injured. As for finau he had an anonymous first half then showed up better against a tiring Aussie pack.

given us something to talk about

you read through the list and it's all good right up until 5 loosies, which is madness.

                  then the undeserving ginger

                  then 5 friggen wingers

and the fact they keep listing BB with the first fives when he is clearly no longer an option to be named there, and is in fact the fullback. They've taken two tens and 6 outside backs

Finau made 17 tackles in that game, carried well and showed himself to be a good line out option. He should have made the squad.

                            This!

Plus Dmac is quite likely the next cab off the rank at 15 if Beauden gets injured.

Very very strange squad. I cant believe they didn’t name an addition lock or loose forward (or both!)

Had 32 or 33. Thought they’d pick an extra loosie instead of an outside back

Surprised they went for LF over another loosie

Not sure why people were mentioning Clarke. He was clearly in their plans having played 13 of the last 14 Test matches

Also thought Narawa might have been the unlucky one given the niggly injury

I watched Retallick walking up on stage, and there was no sign of limp or anything, so maybe he's fit now? I know press has said he out for 4 weeks or whatever, but they work under a lot of guesswork anyway.

There's also the possibility there might be further changes given they still have to get through 80 mins vs Boks unscathed.

An extra wing and just five loose forwards is pretty bizarre - but other than that, it's pretty much as expected. I thought Moody would likely make it, so interested to hear if he's close to fit.

On The Breakdown Laura McGoldrick says, five loose forwards, does that mean Scott Barrett will play some games at 6. The expert analysts all howl "no". I'd say that's exactly what's in the offing, Laura.
