We're probably on the 3rd line of betting at the moment. If this was a horse race Ireland would be at around the $2.50 mark, Friance and South Africa at $3s, and us probably at 4s. England at about 7s or 8s, and everyone else in double figures.

And i am happy with that. But the pretty lady in the mounting yard is probably not picking us off the parade.

Its interesting Aus betting markets suggest they have no idea.. Ire and SA on $4, France on 4.5 and we have slid to $5.. Ireland unbelievably started at $6 in Aus

not bad odds the QFs will obviously see all these shorten or blow out

    novelty bets

Eng who? $13 not bad given their draw

I give up. I'm 8 pages behind. Have no idea what you fluffybunnies are thinking or whinging about. Makes no fucking difference.

I'm going into this game, and any other game we're lucky enough to play thereafter, as if it's a knockout because it is.

This XXIII looks pretty damned good.

I'll see all you fluffybunnies in the morning, hoping we come out on the best side of the game, and that the best side wins, and that's us.

        @booboo

It will be a comfortable win Boo-boo.

Italy will play well and give us a good intro into knockout rugby and give us the mental and physical tune up we need before the qf 👍

Right. Here in Lyon. Going to the game. Can see why Kiwis like it here. More of a laid-back feel to it than Paris. Weather is good, very warm, clear, cloudless blue skies. Food is tasty, beer is cold, and everthing in good walking distance, although the Rugby Village is a bit shit, it is made up for by the charm of the old city which is slow to wake up but comes to life at night....or is that just me...lol. Certainly a lot more bonhomie here. Plenty of Kiwis and AB supporters thronging in the streets, all doing the same touristy things just waiting on the match to start. Cant wait. C'mon Black!

Fan Zone was a joke, not a screen in sight
Far better to watch matches in bars

Getting to and from the stadium is laborious
Get there early, be prepared to take forever to come home
At least that was my experience last Sunday
                Joke

Couple of bars/vans outside the stadium before going in
They're easier to get served and have food too

Inside the ground only Asahi is served
So if you're not a lager drinker you're fucked
                Crazy

                Enjoy the match, cracking stadium

Reckon the ABs are up and about tonight. But can also see them holding on at the death as the Italians pile into the 14-man AB defence

Gorgeous autumnal day in Lyon. Plenty of AB shirts.

                        We’ve got this.

                        Just enjoy the vibe!

Carley, wasn't he the ref that whistled us off the park vs the Boks? Touching in the lineout etc

Lets hope we have learnt and can adapt to his pedantic calls, or this will be a very stop start game.
You would think it would be someone's job to analyze the ref so we don't make the same stupid mistakes.

Luckily for me I have the only British pub in CO just a min away, so can have a few lunch beers and watch the game.

A crane-fly is making its way slowly across my duvet. The rain has picked up and I have two cups of tea, I have a sense of foreboding, but for who?

Tip No.3 for non-French speakers in France: If they can't understand your English it's because you aren't speaking loud enough.
